An exciting new adaptive reuse development is cropping up in the River North neighborhood, a block away from the Museum Reach portion of the River Walk. Directly adjacent to the Soto Building off of Broadway between 8th and Brooklyn Avenue, the new Make Ready Market will be a unique multi-vendor food and drink destination.

The St. Mary’s campus was founded in 1852 and is the oldest Catholic university in the Southwest. Their 135-acre site is located on the West Side of San Antonio, offers multiple undergraduate and graduate degrees, numerous special academic programs, and is home to more than 3,200 students. The private university has mentored, inspired, and served countless individuals over the decades since the opening of its doors. Their heritage is rooted in Marianist principles and those beliefs extend into their education and services.

In a year filled with heartache, obstacles and challenges, The Texas A&M University-San Antonio and PBK were able to provide the community with inspiration and a glimpse of future progress. During the recent pandemic, the University was fortunate to complete its latest milestone of opening the sixth building on the San Antonio campus. The Texas A&M San Antonio Classroom Hall, which opened to the public on August 18, 2020, is a hub for learning and discovery.
