Branding & Graphic Design Adviser
Marcus Romero

Family man, designer, maker — in that precise order. Raised on a steady diet of instant ramen noodles, vinyl records, and reruns, Marcus’s work captures the energy, vibrancy, and spirit of youth culture.
Originally an undergrad in Computer Science, Marcus began his career 27 years ago as a promoter and event producer in the Texas electronic music scene, quickly gaining recognition as a prolific and sought-after poster designer. After several academic pursuits, he completed art school in San Antonio.
Marcus's creative journey continued with a stint in the toy industry, where he worked in retail package design and product development, gaining invaluable experience in both the visual and technical aspects of design. This period helped him hone his ability to balance creativity with practical implementation.
Transitioning into the agency world, Marcus refined his expertise, blending technical knowledge with creative vision. His work spans corporate branding and advertising, UI/UX design, animation & editing, sound design, color grading, and producing digital video campaigns strategically targeted across social platforms.
Fueled by an obsession to understand and master the unfamiliar, Marcus has developed a distinctive blend of expertise that sets him apart:
1. Turning abstract concepts into visually compelling, actionable designs.
2. Creating results-driven corporate branding and advertising campaigns.
3. Bridging creativity and strategy to craft solutions that resonate.
4. Leveraging technical know-how to refine and elevate creative execution across digital and social platforms.
5. Weaponized learning: A relentless drive to acquire new skills, quickly mastering tools and techniques to stay ahead of the curve.
“Great work comes from long-term client relationships, teamwork, and research — this is how I approach every client project. I seek creative strategies that align with a company’s experience, culture, and needs. Some clients have the resources to reach audiences on a global scale, while others operate with far fewer resources and very different goals. It’s important to deliver the same high value and creative excellence to both.”
